A robust porter, a bit bolder & a tad sweeter than a baltic porter. Drinks with a light-medium body & offers rich notes of big chocolate, caramel, toffee, with a bit of roasted malt.

One year old. Can to snifter.
L: Pours a very dark, almost black brown with a light brown head that dissipates quickly without leaving any lacing. No floaters.
S: Roasty, sweet and malty. Dark chocolate, coffee, caramel and almonds.
T: Coffee and dark chocolate. Not as sweet as its smell. Rather bitter and even a bit tart. Roasty and malty as well.
F: Smooth and creamy with a medium low carbonation. Very drinkable.
O: Great example of a no-bullshit Porter with a rather low ABV, that works really well without any adjuncts. Nicely balanced. Drinks very smoothly.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short tan head that left a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of dark chocolate and roasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell but has stronger flavors of chocolate and roasted malts with additional hints of licorice. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This porter is packed with aromas and flavors of chocolatey malts.
