Seeing no end to inspiration behind pastry stout flavors, Evil Twin looks for a combination of coconut candy bars, ice cream and latte for a stout that has it all! ...even palate fatigue.

Please Give Me a Doulb eSweet Almond Joy, Cookies n' Cream, Half-Caf Capp may never just roll off of the tongue in any arena, but the beer of this demand demands attention as it pours with a creamy, thick and syrupy consistence. Very dark brown, the almost black beer patiently builds a tall lather of foam and a culminating scent that's every bit coffeehouse, candy and cream. Chocolaty, coffee-like and candied with sweet coconut, wafer and vanilla, the rich beer soothes the sweet tooth immediately.

As the pastry stout embarks upon the middle palate, its nougat-like sweetness saturates the tastebuds to full completion with aspects of chocolate syrup, fudge, sweet cream and French vanilla. Its strong creamy chocolate links up with alcohol spice for a suggestion of Baley's Irish Cream, Creme de Cacao and Kahlua with a slim coffee bitterness that largely goes unnoticed when closing.

Full, creamy and decidedly cloying, the beer pulls no punches. Its basically an alcoholic brownie batter to make for a satisfying taste but one that's hard to drink. It finishes long and fat with malt, extending onward with caramel and cream sweetness.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sticky trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of almond, chocolate, toffee, sweet caramel and coffee notes. Very sweet and rich with chocolate, caramel, toffee and coffee.
