Pours almost black with tan head that is effervescent but dissipates quickly leaving no lacing. Coffee aroma is prevalent but the malty elements are there as well. Smooth finish with a hint of bitter sweetness. Mouth is semi-syrupy but hold the characteristics of a stout. A fine effort & example of this style.
