Adding to our hoppy blonde series! This one offers bright notes of wheat, fresh hops, & subtle citrus notes. Dry-hopped with Mosaic & Strata.

I feel comfortable saying this was an IPA, not a Belgian Blonde.

From a 16oz can dated 07/28/2022. Described on the label as a Blonde Ale double dry-hopped with Mosaic and Strata. Not ultra-fresh but a very nice drink.

A: The beer is a bit hazy pale golden yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of honeydew melon and strawberry are present in the nose along with some hints of grapefruit and pine as well as bits of Belgian yeast.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of Belgian yeast are a bit stronger and also contribute some hints of spiciness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit crisp on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. There is some dryness in the finish.
O: This beer started initially smelling and tasting like it was an APA or an IPA but once it warmed up a bit you started getting some of the Belgian yeast in the aromas and flavors.

16oz can from Tavour. Bright golden pour, small foamy white head. Malty aroma, citrus, grassy, faint yeasty notes. Hoppy, yeasty taste, resinous, sticky. Blonde ale masking itself as a Belgian IPA.
