poured from a 16oz can into a new glarus dimpled mug. pours straw gold with a little over two fingers of fluffy white foam head. beautiful looking beer. love the concept behind this foedre-aged lagers and the execution is nice as well. lemon and grass mostly on the nose and taste. floral and grassy with a touch of damp, musty oak. full moth feel. nicely carbonated. always feel like helles and helles-style lagers are a touch lighter on the carb than other lighter lagers and pilsners. this was excellent though. wish i had about 5 more right now.

This one pours a golden orange-yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like honey, biscuity malt, some light grassiness, and oak.
The oak is a really nice soft character here, doesn’t overwhelm anything by any means, just a soft toastiness running through this. It’s nicely malty, not too sweet, with honey and biscuits, crackery, with just a hint of grassy hop character.
This is light bodied, clean, and super crisp, with a great drinkability.
Oak aging could have overwhelmed this one, but it was done with a careful hand. This was quite enjoyable.
