375ml waxed and capped bottle into a Side Project snifter.
Pours super dense and viscous. Near flat with hefty, dark mocha legs the stain the glass. Nose is booze, chocolate, molasses, and heaps of coconut. Very aromatic. Beer opens chocolate, vanilla, and molasses. Plenty of rich and spicy rye barrel presence. Tons of coconut. Almost salty from that adjunct. Finish is molasses, vanilla, and syrup. Body is full with low carbonation. Rich and thick on the palate and goes down warm, smooth, and messy with a long, lingering aftertaste.
As a big fan of coconut imperial stouts, I really couldn't ask for more here. This beer is so close to perfect.
