Appears a clear, straw yellow in the pour, semi-hazy, peach yellow in the glass; dense carbonation; thick and frothy white head, dense and creamy texture. Pleasant soft malt sweetness on the nose with a hint of chili pepper. Plain Jane malt flavor but the habanero chili pepper flavor is upfront yet nicely balanced with the base beer; a bit of oat and only the slightest suggestion of smoked malt. Medium body; soft and velvety offset with a nice chili pepper burn.
This is a straight up chili beer, but a very, very nice one.
