Can into Nucleated Tulip
Look: Muddy dark brown, pouring a tan 1 finger head which quickly dissipated to a ring with lacing
Smell: Sweat dark rye bread, raisins, cranberry, caramel, clove/nutmeg and touch metallic note. Strong nose
Taste: Lightly sweat raisin banana bread, fades to a touch of bitter cocoa, clove and toasty caramelized malt. Some alcohol comes in before quickly going. Finish is nice toasted malt, and some drying of oak tannins here
Feel: Medium body with moderate carbonation and semi crisp finish
Overall: very good brew. Oak influence comes in at the very end which I like

16oz can from Tavour. Brown pour, fizzy beige head. Malty, woody aroma. Taste brings some sweetness, malty, nutty, pumpernickel, minor bitterness. Fairly hefty feel, sweetness lingers. Really hits the spot.

On draught at brewery taproom in DUMBO.
L: Clear, chestnut colour with some carbonation and a short-lived, off-white head.
S: Soft, delicate malt aroma.
T: Raisins, pumpernickel, damsen and blackcurrant. Moderate bitterness with more than a touch of malt sweetness.
F: Medium body with foaming carbonation and a dry finish.
O: Very tasty but not getting any of the weizen characteristics. More like a regular bock. Good beer for Fall.
