Copenhagen 19/11 2019. 35,5 cl can from Best of Beers Web-shop. Black can with what looks like an abstract explosion of red triangles.
Pours unclear amber with small sediments floating around. Small white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense and quite sweet. Tropical fruit in a state of fermentation and decay. Peach and Mango. Laden with alcohol. Sweet and bit harsh. Lighter citric notes.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness. Followed by a medium strong, harsh and citric bitterness. Lingering. Finish with an alcoholic burn.
Powerful, unforgiving DIPA. Very sweet and quite harsh with a notable burn. Truly a Molotov Cocktail.

Amber color. Medium-sized, off-white head. Pine, honey, caramel malt, and orange in the aroma. Sweet, malty start with strong hoppy bitterness afterward.Heavy but tasty.

NYC Version
Cloudy, dirty gold to amber color. Moderate head that leaves some chunky streaks as it recedes.
From the can, the smell is fruity and sweet. Once poured into the glass, the aroma becomes a bit more muddy along with a creamsicle smell. No alcohol presence at all.
The taste is rich with more of that creamsicle flavor noted in the smell. Alcohol is present here but certainly subdued compared to the 12% abv. This is a fruity sweet beer even if I can't pinpoint the aforementioned mango. The body is rich, enhanced by the mild level of carbonation. The hop provides balance at the swallow leading to a well-blended aftertaste.
