Step aside Clementine, Evil Twin has a more citrusy, cidery and spicy flavor in mind.
Brewed with cranberry, tangerine, vanilla and cocoa, Oh My Darling, Tangerine leads with those citrusy, orange-laden scents soon after the hazy and lightly muddy appearance settles. Underneath the collapsing foam and overcast of orange lies more fruity and winey scents of berry, cream and tropical fruit. Sweeter upon the initial taste, notions of cream candy, taffy and sorbet come to mind.
Tartness ensues upon the middle palate as the cranberry, citric acid and lactic acids create a pleasantly sour taste laced with lime, lemon, gooseberry, white grape, dry cider and berry. With no real suggestion of cocoa, the flavors trail into a succinctly tart finish with a balance of vanilla and cream.
Medium bodied and finishing quite dry, the juicy and fruit session is a playfully tart taste with a brief afterglow of burlap and sourdough.
