Copehagen 17/1 2025. 47,3 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. A lot of big and small clocks on the dark can. A lot of time seems to be escaping.
Pours opaque murky dark maroon with a small off-white head- Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense but gets stronger as the beer warms up. A sweet, sugary malty odor mingling with dark alcohol. Brow sugar, toffee, caramel and a touch of liqueur.
Light carbonation. Rather thick, oily, soft, viscous and a little sticky texture. Pretty flat.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet ans boozy. Lingering. Finish is sweet and potent with a nice touch of alcohol.
As it takes a bit of time to consume this sweet and potent brew the name seems quite appropriate.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, burgeoning beige head settles down to fine film. Roasty aroma, dark chocolate, coffee, raisins, cinnamon. Taste pops with almonds, chocolate, savory spice, faint coffee. Sweet, with some piquant notes, mild bitterness.
