Belgian blonde ale brewed with Belgian candi-sugar, orange peel, and ginger. Rich notes of apple, biscuit and caramel with accents of apples and spicy belgian yeast character. Full bodied. Subtle bitterness.

Prepare thy self for a very intense experience:
Super boozy, high heat in this powerhouse. Belgian candy flavors: Minty apple, sour candy, orange peel and a crunchy backdrop of pine sap and spicy yeast. Spiced highly with fig and cardamom. Huge.

This brewery has done nothing but fail me for ten years. I truly pity the east coast that they tolerate such dogshit. Hot, thin, bitter, overly sweet, one dimensional. Insulting. Waste of time for everyone involved. Done with these clowns.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather quickly, leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a biscuit and doughy malt and lots sweet notes in there as well, with candied sugar smells, notes of orange, bubblegum, and some vanilla. Other light fruit notes of apple and apricot in in there as well along with some notes of wood and yeast. This big brew also highlights in alcohol in the nose, with a boozy warming bandy like smell. Other aromas of spice of coriander and clove are in there as well, making for a rather big and warming smell overall.
Taste – The taste starts out with a biscuit and doughy malt flavor mixed with a big showing of orange, vanilla, and apricot. The booze in noticed from the start, with it beginning light at first and ramping up as the taste advances. Other flavors of yeast and spice that were in the nose are in the taste as well, giving the traditional Belgium spice profile to the tongue. The sweetness gets even more potent as the taste advances with more of the orange and a good hit of candied sugar and bubblegum coming on the scene. Toward the end, some light oak and herb jump on board, and with the increase in the booze and sweet, one is left with a rich, warming, and slightly sweeter taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – For the abv of 12 % the feel is what one may expect, a bit heavier and thick with a moderate carbonation level. For the style I would have liked something a bit lighter, but given the big abv. and warming nature, the feel was actually pretty decent, making this on a slow sipper as it should be.
Overall – This is a big one that packs a good alcohol punch with tons of flavor. I rather liked it, and would certainly do it again.

Pours a bubbly frothy 1/2 finger head with moderate retention, fair lacing, hazy with sediment golden tan color
Nose sweet golden blonde malts, Belgian golden malts, a bit biscuity, phenol spices with some vanilla and a hint of coriander like floral spices, some fruity esters as well with a little citrus, orchard fruit, bubblegum, mild perfumy alcohol, a hint of orange cake with vanilla icing
Taste brings more of everything, sweet Belgian golden malts, cake batter, more orange cake with vanilla icing, perfumey tingly alcohol close to but not quite fusel, phenol spices with more vanilla spice, floral coriander like spices, more fruity esters, citrus, a little candy apple and candi sugar, touch of bitter spice, finishes on the sweeter side with more floral spices, citrus, vanilla, and surprisingly less alcohol burn
Mouth is med bod, higher effervescent carb, a bit higher warming tingly alcohol
Overall solid Belgian Strong, a bit high on alcohol warmth but good otherwise

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This decent little blonde (at 12 abv?) pours
a clear golden with a modest head of white foam that settles to a thin ring
and subtle swirling layer. Nose of ginger, orange zest, apple, and candy sugar.
Flavors lightly exceed the nose with ginger, candy sugar, light biscuit, apple cider
notes, coriander, subtle clove, and white pepper. Mouth feel is medium, medium
light carbonation, and a spicy alcohol finish that is lightly dry.
Overall, a unique take on a Belgian Blonde
Cheers

Poured from the undated 16 oz can, into the test glass
A - Dark honey colored backdrop, with a touch of opacity. Refined and relentless carbonation quickly assembles topside.
Thin white cap stays the duration, lacing is beautiful.
S - Honey, orange, ginger, sweet malts, yeast driven esters, of clove and white pepper
T - Ginger, orange medley with again that beautiful spice packet, of white pepper, clove, and apple skin
M - Medium in body, semi sweet, with the alcohol cloaked. Dry finish
O - A very good warmer, deceitful in it's ease to drink. Lovely full flavored offering with excellent texture

I was excited to try this. nice golden color. Unfortunately, actual flavor is just ok and the overall thickness of the mouthfeel is not great.

Deceptively smooth, powerfully strong and surprisingly complex, Evil Twin’s night in a New York taproom is anything but silent.
Cloudy, goldenrod and capped with a tall and fluffy froth, Silent Night in a New York City Taproom greets the senses with a burst of fruity aromas that counter with spicy scents, peppery alcohol and a gentle biscotti sweet scent. Past its perfume, the taste leans in with a light sweetness of honey, shortcake and biscuit.
But here comes the fruits as the eatery middle palate floods the tastebuds with apple, orange, lemon and pear for a juicy and fresh cornucopia of flavor. Balanced with natural and spice additions, the balance of the beer comes way of peppercorn, cinnamon, allspice, clove, ginger, nutmeg and vinous dryness. The holiday ale simply takes on a holiday theme in taste as easily as it does in its label.
Trending dry, warm and peppery, the ale finishes slightly bitter and spicy with a grappa-like heat that screams Christmas.
