Murky reddish brown body with no head. Smells of the orange peel, vanilla, & cinnamon with boozy bourbon backing, a hint of wheat. Taste getting the adjuncts and booze with minor wheat and earthy spice, barrel and esters are MIA. Feel is hot and sweet with a thin and more malty than anything body. This didn't come together for me and too divergent from the style

250ml can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, a few bubbles then flat. Aroma leads with cinnamon, then orange peel. The savory spice flavors dominate the taste. Not a lot of barrel notes. A bit of vanilla turns up, a long with some latent heat. Tastes like a winter ale.
