Solid black appearance with a lasting brownish head
Medium light carbonation with a slightly thin body
Aroma has that smell of fresh cut wood, roasted malt with toasted dark bread
Taste is very similar to the aroma. Slight sweetness, then dry, then a surprisingly strong bitter finish
Overall a well done interesting beer

BOD 10-12-2024. This beer pours a dark brown color with a large off-white head. Aroma is sweet and malty as is the taste with chocolate and a hint of coffee. Mouthfeel is fairly light. Very good beer. Had last night.

Aroma is toasted/dark malts, mild toffee and a big hint of fruit. The flavor is toasted/very nutty malts, toffee/caramel and an acidic/dark bread finish.
