16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, filmy beige head, streaky lacing. Cinnamon prominent in the aroma, roasty, notes of vanilla. Taste is cinnamon, spicy, savory, vanilla, faint almond. Cinnamon, spicy notes linger on the palate.

Bought from Tavour for ~$9 for a 16oz can. Canned on 03/13/25 and consumed on 06/19/25. Left out at RT for ~30 mins. Poured into a Spiegelau stout glass. I like a lot of EvilTwin's stuff and the couple of trillium beers I have tried I have also liked, so I was pretty excited about this combo.
A&S: Pour looks on the thicker side. One finger of creamy, almost sparkly mocha-colored head. The beer is on the very dark side, pretty much jet black. Some lacing. The aroma contains chocolate cake and cinnamon.
T&M: Interesting... Very sweet upfront, the finish is super bitter and smokey. Some odd sour wet cardboard tones in there as well. Normally, I invite interesting changes to the aroma through the taste, but this one isn't pulled off right. Alcohol is well hidden. Pretty smooth. Lower on the carbonation side.
Overall: Unfortunately, I didn't see the small warning sign on the can when purchasing, but it states, "keep refrigerated and drink fresh", neither I did. It's a 14% stout, wouldn't have expected it. So a rather large caveat is that this review may not be accurate for how this beer was intended to be consumed. Ended up being a partial drain pour due to the taste and high alcohol content (not worth it for the taste).
