Teaming up with Florida's Woven Water, Evil Twin sets their sights on sourness. Pistachio, raspberry and lemon all represent a unique flavor spread that might belong more at the ice cream parlor than at the beer bar.
Pouring a cloudy pinkish orange, Evil Fusion Summer Edition builds a bubbly froth and a sorbet scent that circulates around those tart and tangy citrus fruits and berries. Lightly musty, the scent soon carries a sweeter flavor onto the palate with sugary cereal, wafer and whole wheat. But the sourness dominates the middle palate with an undercurrent of lemon, lime, green apple, sour grape and gooseberry before the raspberry and lemon additions bring an overt fruitiness to the session. A balance of firm acidity slices through the sweetness and brings a sweet-tart finish all wrapped in the soothing subtlety of pistachio and cream.
Creamy, smooth and fuller for most sour ale, tis smoothie sour ale is a delicious sherbet inspired taste that departs from beer norms but isn't all that unappealing either.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, thick orange color with a small, thin head of foam. It left sudsy residue. It smelled of berries, lemon, pistachio and cream. Sweet berry taste with tart notes, cream and lemon.
