A-light gold pour that turned a dark gold as the pour finished with a white head that faded quickly
S-bread or biscuit aroma with a orange smell
T-same as nose, but the alcohol warming comes in strong in the aftertaste with a hops bitterness added to it
M-light body and high carbonation
O-The beer has a good combination of aroma and flavor that would go great on a good summer day, and an alcohol warming that would be great on a winter day/

Thanks to tb69 for sharing enjoyed chilled in a glass.

The color is a light amber like honey with moderate haze and thick white cream with fine bead and thick lace sticks. The smell is very floral and fruity with a citrus and mild aroma of grass with light melon and toast. The feel is good moderately high bitterness with low alcohol influence and gentle malt body with medium carbonation and mild resinous and nuttiness in the finish.

The flavor is a mix of tropical fruit and slight grassy hops with malty backbone with toasted malt flavor supporting the mild flavor of herbs and some grapefruit tinges with lemon-lime quality and some light alcohol coming forward as it warms. Overall a very good example of an amped up, hopped up...however you want to call it lager. It is a very drinkable regardless of style. I recommend this if you enjoy the motueka or nz hops in general since it has a good amount of hop flavor

Golden colour, decent head, OK lace. Bit of cloud. Yeah, pretty nice-looking pils.

Resinous hops and lots of them on the nose. Bit of spice and herb: basil, star anise. Butter, too. Touch of lychee. Not bad at all.

Taste is quite gritty and hoppy. Lots of sweet booze on the back, quite ethanoic actually. Not a lot of residual sweetness, tastes a bit overattenuated, very dried out. Lots of hop resins and bitterness. Just tastes a bit off-balance.

Bit hot on the back, OK body though.

A bit of a hot one overall. Too much bitterness, and a little too hot. Maybe in the pils style the malt's just disappeared so it just feels a bit unbalanced.

Pours gold with a large head.
Nose shows grapefruit, orange blossom and some biscuity malt.
Pretty aggressive flavours, very hoppy. Pine and grapefruit with a fair whack of sweet clean malt too. Aggressive sharp bitterness in the finish. Very clean, making the bitterness stand out even more. Seems a bit disjointed.
Great moderately high carbonation.

On-tap at the Local Taphouse in Sydney as part of their Scandinavian Makeover.

Pours a rather deep golden colour with some fair hazing to it. Head is a persistent, silky white, pocked with small bubbles. Huge, webbing, full, solid lace. Surprisingly light body but fine carbonation streaming rather languidly despite this. Looks decent.

Nose is much better than decent, however. Sharp, prickly aromas of crisp Kiwi hops. Grassy notes and some herbal tones. Even something more organic and ostensibly unsavoury: perhaps wet carpet, 1950s Air Freshener. Oh yeah, that's ripe. I like it.

Taste is full and rich on the front, surprisingly malty given the nose. This provides a basis though, and it develops into a slightly nuttiness mid-palate, laced with sparkly hops and something dirty and hard. Sharp on the back with a big bite: some booze, some clinging oil. Aftertaste is brusquely bitter. Solid stuff.

Feel is very sharp, largely from the hops, but the malt basis gives it a fullness which is quite pleasant.

Yep, this is a very pleasant if big and scary beer. Nice stuff.

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin layer of large bubbles covering the surface that died down a bit but never completely faded away.
S: There are light aromas of tropical fruits in the nose-passionfruit seems to stand out in particular.
T: The taste shares some similarities with the taste, but is much more complex. The Motueka hops lend flavors of tropical fruits along with hints of citrus and a good amount of spiciness towards the finish. There are also some hints of grainy malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The New Zealand hops definitely make this beer very interesting to drink.
