Pours a black color. 1/2 inch head of a tan color. Great lacing and great retention. Smells of sweet malt, roasted malt, slight hop, slight alcohol, slight bread, hint of pine, slight chocolate, and a hint of oatmeal. Fits the style of an American Porter. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. There is also a slight dryness in the feel. Tastes of roasted malt, sweet malt, slight hop, slight chocolate, slight pale malt, hint of pine, and a hint of coffee. Overall, this is a great beer; good appearance, aroma, feel, blend, body, and complexity.

Served on tap at Max's during Baltimore Beer Week.

Pours a dark black in color with a dark colored head. Smells is of chocolate, vanilla, some vanilla and sugar. Taste is full bodied, the chocolate notes really come through as well as some coffee/espresso like characteristics. Mouthfeel is smooth and not overly carbonated. Has a good finish.

Overall this was a solid beer from Evil Twin. I feel like they consistently put out good porters and stouts.
