On tap at City Beer Store
A: 4.5 Pitch black with a fairly large tan head that dissipates quickly. Looks like a nice stout.
S: 3.75 Lots of vanilla and roasted malts up front followed by light vinegar.
T: 3.25 A lot going on but not particularly balanced. Starts quite tart with some fruits (maybe apple?). Some of the roasted malt comes next, but with it also comes some bitterness and a bit of a chemically taste. Another review described it as airplane glue, which is pretty spot on. It's not super strong, but once you notice it, it becomes hard to ignore.
M: 4 Nice and thick like a stout, but not too much. I think the carbonation is just right and works well with the sour flavors.
O: 3.75 Definitely an interesting beer. Not worth seeking out, but it does have a lot if interesting flavors and qualities. It would be much better if they were more harmonious.

Appearance: Oily black Aroma: Sour, almost chemical/glue like aroma Taste: Collision of coffee/chocolate with intense medicinal tartness Palate: Huge mouthfeel Overall: So much going on... extremely huge, and the flavors seem to compete with each other (from notes)
