Bottle at the Aviary.
A - Looks like the others, with a moderate amount of foam and solid retention and lacing.
S - Unlike the Parker's this bourbon character is very spicy and oaky, with a bit of green apple and alcohol presence, and milder vanilla and caramel sweetness. Base beer is again overwhelmed.
T - The taste is quite similar to the aroma, albeit a tad sweeter. The spicy oak and bourbon helps cut the malt sweetness that verged towards cloying in the Parker's Heritage version. Less overt booze and more bourbon flavor here.
M - Lighter in body and thinner than some of the other variants; the barrel seems to have thinned things out. Pleasant moderate carbonation. Quite dry, with some mild alcohol warming.
D - This was somewhere in the middle of the back. Aroma was a bit rough around the edges, but the flavor redeemed things a bit. I'd drink this one again if offered, but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.
