Bottle at the Aviary.
A - Fairly low foam on this one, with a lingering thin collar and not much else.
S - There's some definite tequila character, but it's not overly rough. I'd actually guess this was whiskey blind, but there's a slightly tangy and smokey undercurrent. Some green apple and alcohol presence, and only mild base beer in this one. Fairly heavy on the oak.
T - The taste is similarly oak and spirit-forward, but it's a bit more smoothed out than the aroma. I get more wood than spirit, and it's less harsh the the aroma somehow. More base beer sweetness to balance the tequila and wood.
M - Smooth, medium body, with pleasant carbonation, and a mild amount of lingering stickiness. Less tannic and dry than some of the other versions. Pleasant carbonation with some alcohol warming.
D - This reminds me a little of Allagash BAT. The tequila is well-integrated in the flavor, and there's nice balance between spirit and malt. Nothing mind-blowing, but competently made.
