Served 40F into 16 ounce trappist snifter, poured from the 22 ounce bottle, purchased at Weis Market 18301.
No bottle date anywhere to be found on the label or stamping on the bottle.
Typical dark stout color, whitish minimalist head.
Nose is stale malts, and stale lactose. This stout just tastes old, and I would classify it as a shelf turd. I would not have even purchased it had it had a bottling date, and I certainly will not purchase anything from 3 Heads again, until they show some pride in their craftsmanship, and actually bottle date their products.
Mouthfeel is thin for a stout, and the texture is slightly abrasive.
Overall not worth the price point given how stale the product was.

A - Pitch black pour and a thick toffee colored ring.
S - Fudge, chocolate brownies, cream.
T - Chocolate fudge, cream, brownies, and a creamy sweet and smooth finish.
M - Medium body, velvet smooth on the tongue, no lingering bitterness.
O - Definitely will buy again.

Pours black and opaque with a thin tan head that fell fast and left a ring. Nose is roasty malt and a creamy sweetness. No hops. Milk chocolate. Taste is smooth roast and a milky creaminess. The chocolate is milky and light . The hops bitter the finish just enough. There are literally no edges to this beer. It is so creamy and smooth. Some coffee comes to the nose as it warms and is a lovely earthiness in the flavor. leaves with that roast to linger faintly and lots of cream.

On tap at Filgers East End in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black, with a small head and no lacing.
Smells quite a bit like chocolate milk, and nothing else.
This is tasty, but super one-note. It has a fake artificial chocolate flavor, almost like Nesquik, that's tasty, but unimpressive. There's no roasted malt, and the beer is quite sweet.
This is very creamy, with a lighter body, and a lower level of carbonation. Very drinkable.
Very downable, but noncomplex and not all that interesting, really.
