On nitro tap at Lovin' Cup in Henrietta, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black, with a creamy head, and a lot of lacing.
Smells like creamy coffee, caramel, smoke, and roasted malt.
This is actually surprisingly nice, because 1) it's on nitro and 2) it's Three Heads. It's got a creamy flavor, with slight roasted malt, caramelly coffee flavor, a hint of smoke. I definitely feel this is a bit too sweet for the style, as I'd prefer a lot more roasty complexity, but this still tastes fairly good.
This has a really creamy body, but it's a tiny bit thin.
This is one of the better new beers from Three Heads, who seem to be floundering a bit lately.
