a very good ipa, i like all the hoppy stuff i had in here. it seems everyone is making one of these now, im sure this style variant is here to stay too. im not sure if this has the enzyme or what the deal is, but it really isnt all that dry despite the name, still plenty of round body and a bit of grain sugar in there with the hop oils that linger pretty long, but i prefer it this way i think, and wouldnt want anything that is present in this one to be gone. the hops are amarillo and simcoe, and i have to imagine they are just about all in the dry hops, as there isnt much bitterness to this despite it smelling and tasting really hoppy. amarillo in front of the simcoe for me, more bright fruitiness, stone fruit and citrus, less bitter pine and grapefruit pith, but both varietals leave their mark. a little stronger than i have seen in the style, and somewhat substantial while also remaining quite drinkable. tasty beer, simple really, but well done. still not as dynamic and amazing as their strong arm ipa, but this was real tasty!
