This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a large fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like sweet malt, (slightly overripe) dark fruit, chocolate fudge, and roasted malt.
This is pretty good, but not great. There's lots of of dark fruit, almost too ripe and sweet, with not enough roastiness to counterbalance that. There is some decent chocolatey character, though.
This is a little bit syrupy, but still relatively drinkable, with a bit of creaminess on the finish.
I enjoyed this one a bit more than I usually enjoy 3HB's beers. It still has some flaws, though.
