Mahogany with a 1" tan head, which fades to a wisp. Moderate lacing.
Aroma of cocoa, caramel, roast malt.
Taste is cocoa, caramel, coffee, roast malt, salt.
Medium body, light carbonation. Dry, astringent finish.
A bit thin for a stout but a good beer.

Comes in a pitch black color. Capped with a creamy tan head. Good retention.
The aroma is milk chocolate, roasted grains, caramel, burnt toast and coffee.
The taste is dark chocolate, burnt toast, coffee, burnt sugar, a hint of vanilla, and maybe a touch of salinity--followed by a lingering roasted bitterness.
Medium mouthfeel, moderate carbonation, slightly creamy.
A solid stout. I don't really get the caramel or salt, but it's a decent stout.
