On tap at Three Heads Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a light golden amber color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like pale, cookie like malt, a touch of tea like bitter hops, and caramel.
This is definitely maltier than most steam beers you’ll try, but that seems to be by design. It’s sweet, but not overly so, with a biscuity and cookie light maltiness on the back end, and just a hint of floral and tea-like hops up front.
This is crisp, clean, and very drinkable.
This is better than I usually give Three Heads credit for.
