This is an exceptional saison from a great brewery here on Indianapolis' North side.
Poured from a fresh growler into a pint glass, it has an opaque pale yellow color and frothy, white head that quickly dissipates from about 1 inch. It smells fruity and tart without blatant sweetness.
The mouthfeel is fairly muted - no crazy carbonation - but the flavor is a great balance of sour tartness with herbal character and just a touch of hops.
This is one of the best saisons I've ever tasted...for me, it stands among Jolly Pumpkin's Bam, Saison Dupont, and Boulevard's Tank 7. I highly recommend.
