Just a quick review.
Dark brown and translucent around the edges. Low carbonation with a minimal head that quickly retreated to a flat head. Looks pretty thin. The nose is roasted coffee and dark malts, minor notes if chocolate, tobacco, boot strap leather, and oak. The taste is very coffee forward, like fresh ground espresso and chocolate covered coffee beans. Not a ton of barrel but it's there.
A damn fine stout. Very thin but that's not a deal breaker by any means. Good flavors, could use more barrel presence.
