I have a new on-again, off-again irregular trading partner in @jkblr who has really been hooking me up with some righteous CANs in support of The CANQuest (tm)! This one got shuffled off to the side when I noticed that there was no approved pic to go with it. I am loathe to Crack! open a CAN without one in place. I CAN fudge refilling a bottle for a later pic, but not a CAN.
From the CAN: "Downtown Tinker Brown is a collaboration with local roaster, Tinker Coffee Company. This coffee brown ale with milk sugar is brewed with the highest quality single-origin Columbian coffee beans. A bold aroma with subtle notes of honey complement the chocolate malt."; "The ingenuity of the Flathead 12 cylinder engine revolutionized racing in the great state of Indiana. We foster that same spirit of ingenuity with every beer we create."
The Crack! released some heavy foaming through the vent, but I was also involved in another evolution so rather than giving it some calming time, I went straight for a C-Line Glug. This resulted in MORE foaming, eventually becoming two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, light-tan head with good retention, leaving loads of lacing in its wake. Color was Dark Brown to Very Dark Brown (SRM = > 27, < 34) with NE-quality clarity. Nose was quite heavy with coffee and an unidentifiable spiciness. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium, about on par for the style. The taste was of milk chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, hazelnut & brown bread. Mmm. This is their Winter seasonal & it was perfect for the chill on this evening. Finish was semi-sweet, bordering on semi-dry. It was another one that made me wonder how it would fare if it were warmed/mulled/wassailed. Hmm.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
