A blend of four different treatments of Walkabout Pale Ale, the Flat 12 pale featuring Australia’s galaxy hop. Walkabout variations featuring Indiana-grown passion fruit from Fruit Loop Acres and wine barrel aging on barrels from Easley Winery blend with our standard Walkabout brew and a bourbon barrel version to create this multi-tentacled creature.

On tap at Tomlinson Tap Room. Poured a decent light copper with some very nice head and some nice lacing. Good malty scent, with a hint of citrus and floral hops. Nice flavors, with some decent sweet malts and some nice slight citrus hop aftertones. Goes down quite well; not an outstanding or memorial pale ale, but there's nothing wrong with it either. Just doesn't stand out.

Pours a muddy orange with a small off-white head and decent lacing down the glass.
Smells of rich tropical fruits with just a touch of malt. I get a tad bit of red wine in the nose as well.
Flavor is similar and similar to the base beer. Lots of tropical fruit typically associated with galaxy hops with just a slight tartness from the wine barrels. A touch of oak, but otherwise the bourbon barrel doesn't peak out much.
Good medium mouthfeel with medium carbonation.
I was excited to try this one since the base beer is one of my favorite locals. It doesn't disappoint although there is very little differentiating this from the base beer. I'd probably rather have the base and save some money.
