Gold in color with a faint haziness. There’s a fingernail of off white around the rim and covering three quarters of the top. The aroma is light malt and a trace of lemon. I’m tasting light malt and a touch of lemon. The mouth is light and very approachable.

Aroma is malts/pale malts and strong fruit/floral/perfumed. The flavor is grainy malts, mild tropical fruit and a sweet fruit/berries/very earthy finish.

a sort of rustic and sturdy blonde ale, with a lot more grain character than a lot of them have, dry hopped with centennial. in a lot of ways its simple beer, but its also not just a dumbed down or overly refined clear yellow beer, it has some body, some light haze, and some real flavor from the barley, even maybe some wheat malt too, dry and earthy and simple, but not at all flavorless. i think the centennial is a nice choice, i get that fresh milled white pine lumber thing from it in the nose, and a fresh piney flavor without it ever being bitter, hoppy spice is nice with the grain and carried on by the bigger body, its great, not forced, well balanced but interesting in a style that often only has flavor if its spiked with fruit or coffee or something. carbonation is a little lacking, so this feels a touch heavy from the tap for the style, especially with a big fatty sandwich, not as palate cleansing as some, but i prefer it bolder rather than lesser. cool recipe and nice execution, more character than i have seen in a blonde ale in a long time. i love these guys!
