Pours a hazed amber with one finger of beige head. Some lacing & head retention
S: Light tropical fruit, some breadyness, wanted more
T: Mango, papaya, a little cakeyness & sweet tangerine along with somewhat powdery dryness up front. Peach, a little nectrarine, dryness & just a little citrus as this warms. Finishes with powdery dryness, sweet orange & peach
MF: Medium body, subtle carbonation, nice balance
Drinks crazy easy, would happily buy again if relatively fresh

Canned 12/20/18; drank 2/23/19 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a nice white head; frothy lace.
Pine, peanut butter & mild orange citrus notes in the nose.
Sticky medium mouthfeel.
Peanut butter, pine & mild orange citrus flavors up front; macro lager notes on the finish.
To advertise this as a "New England-style Pale Ale" is to either misunderstand the genre badly (it should be fruity, pillow-y & pleasant, not angular, biting & unpleasant) or to cynically exploit the term. Either way, avoid at all costs.
