12 oz. can (illegible) ON (illegible) /2021. Poured into a Rastal Teku glass. This is definitely fresh. Formed a white one-finger foam head, respectable time to dissipate. Good webby lacing. Nice orangey nose. Flavor has an aggressive bite with a backbone of sweetness. Tastes of sharp melon orange. Good color. Orange amber gold.

Looks amber yellow. Smells fruity with strong grapefruit odor. Tastes like orange peel and grapefruit (maybe that’s the two trains?) and is clean and refreshing. Mouthfeel is thin and watery like an ipa should be. Brewed with falconers flight hops which I’ve never had. A Pacific Northwest blend of seven “C” hops. Overall this is a delicious brew and it’s too bad it’s no longer made.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of pine, roasted malt and toffee. Big piney bite with strong roasted caramel malt.

12 ounce can - $4.49 at Sprayberry Bottle Shop in Marietta, Georgia.
CANNED ON: 02/21/2019.
Appearance: Pours a orange-amber body with a gentle haze to it, underneath an inch of off-white foam.
Smell: Sticky, bittersweet tangelo pulp, moist lemons, piney resins, florals and toasted grains with an overtop whiff of alcohol and hint of citrus-scented cream.
Taste: Citrusy, fruity with an undercurrent of toasty, bready malts. A drizzle of gooey blonde caramel. Thin vein of pine resin. Medium-plus bitterness. Slight creaminess hinted at. Fruity with some late breaking pineapple, floral with some warming alcohol and lingering bitterness heading into the bittersweet finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-soft carbonation. Just a little bit sticky on the tongue.
Overall: Decent IIPA.

12oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 4.49. Canned 2/21/19. Served in a teku. Enjoyed 3/19/19.
Pours a deep, nearly opaque chestnut burnt amber with a dense cap of ecrue froth. The head recedes to some surface wisps, a foamy belt and some scattered dashes of lace.
Smells of stone fruit and citrus. Apricot, peach, cherry limeade, grapefruit and some breadiness.
In a good way, there is considerably more malt presence in the flavor than expected. A sweetish tropical bread pudding base nests notes of grapefruit, peach, lemon cake, apricot, floral greens and a dollop of alcohol.
Full feel with restrained carbonation. The lingering bittersweet finish blends the hops and malts like a tropical hop bread pudding.
Cool to get to try some 2nd Shift while they’re in town for a festival. Two Trains is a hearty old school imperial IPA with the rich citrusy hops sitting atop a delightfully sweet and sturdy malt base.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 12 fl oz can on March 9, 2019. Brewed with Falconers Flight hops, this beer has a sticky body to match with the floral, citrusy hops.

Copper colored and slightly murky. There’s a fingernail of off white around the rim and slightly otherwise present. I smell pine and pineapple. I’m tasting a blend of pineapple and pine. The mouth is lightly chewy and sticky.
