L - 1/2 finger mocha head dissolves quickly, leaving behind a pitch black body.

S - cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate.

T - tons of cinnamon, backed by vanilla, milk chocolate, roast, graham cracker, molasses, soft caramels, and booze-filled candy. Slight metallic finish. Low bitterness. Moderate-low sweetness. Moderate-low booziness.

F - medium-full body with minimal carb.

O - as a cinnamon lover, I dig this a whole lot.

12oz can. Bottom date stamp is illegible.
Black colored body, with a wide mahogany back lit edge. Two fingers of tan head and this eventually becomes an interrupted cap and ring. Leaves behind a few lacing spots.
Aroma is cinnamon and vanilla candy cane.
Taste starts out sweet and milk chocolate and then progresses to a dark chocolate and bitterness. Cinnamon is constant. Aftertaste gets more sweet cocoa.
More than medium mouthfeel. A little chalky but overall smooth. Higher ABV% is more warming than a burn. Good carbonation.
Good balance with the cinnamon and vanilla additions.

Can from John. Black pour looks like an oil slick. Tar, cinnamon, vanilla, french toast. Extra bitterness in the taste, some of the booze too. Slippery.

Aroma is big cinnamon and a hint of pine tree. The flavor is fruit, dark malts and a mild/medium sweet cinnamon/pine tree /acidic finish.

Poutd black with a finger of khaki foam. Aroma is vanilla and cinnamon with hearty roasty and toasty malts for support. Flavor profile is big cinnamon, medium vanilla, and hearty roasty and toasty malts. There is a some lactose sweetness towards the finish. Mouth feel is creamy with mild grit, all wrapped up in a medium-thick consistency. Overall, big time cinnamon and vanilla with a very smooth delivery. Focused.

Draft. Reviewed from notes.

12oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sticky patches of lace on the glass. It smelled of chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla and coffee notes. Sweet chocolate and toffee flavor coffee, cinnamon and vanilla flavors.

Forgot to rate when I had it. On draft at Perennial Artisan Ales, 02/01/2020.

Heavy with the cinnamon & vanilla. Palate is sweet and soft, personally a bit too much cinnamon but still very good. Coffee backbone but edge to Abraxas.

12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black; dark khaki head that fades leaving solid retention and lacing. The aromas are on the mild and subtle side, but open up as it warms a bit. Lots of malts. Hints of cocoa. Faint spices. Cinnamon and vanilla awakens as it warms. The flavors are extremely bold, especially compared to the nose. Lots of chocolate. Cinnamon and ginger come through. The vanilla does its thing giving it a subtle sweetness. It's pretty sticky. Mild warmth in the finish. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, velvety, creamy and smooth.

This is a great imperial stout. Great flavors. The cinnamon and vanilla shine without completely dominating or diminishing everything else that's going on. The craftsmanship is on point. Well done. I really like this one.

smell: Roasty stout, vanilla, and cinnamon.
taste: Mostly fine stout up front, a zing of cinnamon is prominent in the finish.

Black in color with no penetration to light. There’s a fingernail of brown on top. The aroma is of cinnamon and dark malt. I’m tasting cinnamon, vanilla, and dark malt. The mouth is moderately spiced, thick, and chewy.
