Smooth, vanilla coffee on the nose, sweet and roasty. A bit of banana and coconut show in the flavor, chocolate. A little sweet, bitterness is understated. Medium full mouthfeel. Lower carb.

12oz can. No dating information found.
Black colored body. Brief tan skiff, but the surface stays moderately active. Minor oil sheen on sides of the glass.
Aroma of dark roasted malts, milk chocolate, and a sense of vanilla.
Taste is the sweet milk chocolate over the dark chocolate malts. No real bitterness but the end has the bite of dark roast coffee.
Slick and medium mouth feel. Low carbonation.
Sweet enough to ache the teeth, but the slight bite at the end saves the occasion.

Black in color with minimal light penetration. There’s a half inch of of creamy brown on top. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of milk chocolate and lactose. I’m tasting dark chocolate and cocoa powder. The mouth is dry and a bit dense.

one day i'll stop drinking lactose filled beers. not today. almost 4 month old can into a tulip, came out like actual oil, only slight bits of light come through on the edges, with a short lived tan head. aromas of fairly sweet chocolate milk, deep roasted malts, a splash of black coffee and maybe some vanilla. sits somewhere between breakfast and dessert. the flavor profile is a lot less sweet, with an initial wallop of deep, dark roasted malts that lead to that black coffee note, followed then by a chocolately sweetness. still sits closer to dark chocolate than the nose let off. there's an underlying earthiness that rests on the tongue after every sip. drinks creamy and full as one would expect, lacks a bit of carbonation and liveliness though. my can shows this sitting at 7.1% but it drinks a tad hotter than that. fairly tasty stuff from these guys.
