Pours a dark orange with an opaque translucency. Head is three fingers of off-white foam, nice lacing left behind. Aroma is papaya, grapefruit, and orange zest. It's a pop of dense tropical fruits on the nose. Some nutty malts come through later, but are faint. Flavor profile is a little less dense, though it's elongated. Flavor hits notes of grapefruit, orange zest, and papaya before transitioning to nutty malts, and grass and tropical fruit blend hops. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. Texture is driven by a light initial crispness that flattens out, allowing some minor grit to show through in the carbonation. Overall, dense and balanced NE IPA that isn't overly forward with tropical fruits or sweetness. While it is sweet, it retains a good balance to be sippable for an extended period of time.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, orange, pineapple and toasted caramel. It tasted tropical with sweet fruitiness and caramel with a bitter bite.
