Pours black with mocha foam. Aroma is roasty and toasty with a bold emphasis. Caramel and chocolate tag onto the start of the flavor profile, with fudge coming on at the finish. Bourbon adds a swell of heat, but not enough to be cutting or abrasive. Flavor profile is barrel and char lead, followed closely by thick roasty and toasty malts. Fudge comes through at the finish again. There is a sugary, candy-like finish via vanilla beans. Mouth feel is viscous with some grit to the otherwise creamy texture. It's thick, like drinking a melted toffee candy, in terms of feel. Overall, a sublime stout that oozes thickness, and balanced sweetness.
