In October of 2020, Steve Crider of 2nd Shift Brewing and Phil Wymore of Perennial Artisan Ales teamed up to make a barleywine at 2nd Shift. The Wine and Cheese Place delivered 5 freshly dumped barrels to be filled with this barleywine. What a collab! It was barrel-aged for about 20 months, and the barrels used were 4 Roses OESO, George Remus Bourbon, 1792 Full Proof, Rossville Union Rye and a High West Double Rye.

Dark brown in color with a murky complexion. No discernable head. The aroma is of sweet bourbon, dark malt, and vanilla. The flavor profile closely matches the aroma with sweet bourbon, dark malt, and vanilla. The mouth is boozy and sticky.
