This delicious barrel aged stout is a harmonious blend that starts with a molasses & bourbon nose leading to a rich chocolate, barrel spice, vanilla & bourbon heat body with a soft, bourbon spiced finish. We very softly carbonated this stout to make sure the wonderful harmony of flavors did not get lost.

Had on tap. Viscous black body with a brown ring. Amazing barrel character in all aspects here, what the BCBS barrel barrel selects used to be! Smell has huge bourbon, molasses, caramel, toasty oak with dark chocolate fudge, with supporting vanillins, anise and raisin. Taste is much the same, only the caramel is lesser but the vanillins and anise is more. Feel is silky smooth with strong yet artful warmth and barrel character, oak and booze at just the right level. A perfect elevated dessert beer after a nice steak dinner. The wife loved
