Aroma is grainy/husky malts and a hint of floral hops. The flavor is fruit/citrus, husky malts/grains, a slightly oily texture and a spicy hop finish.

Appearance: Clear gold, good head.
Smell: Mineral-y, light grass, hard to smell.
Taste: Balanced arrival, light breadiness and light sweetness before a solid grassy hop hit. Medium-light bodied. Finishes dry and grassy.
Overall: In Kansas City for a wedding so looked for anything not available in MN. 2nd Shift is from across the state in St. Louis, but fits the bill. This is a very good hoppy pilsner, hits the spot after 7-plus hours of driving.

Pours the color of straw, with a mild fogginess to the translucency. Head is three fingers of white foam with good retention. Aroma is crackers and wafer malts for a dry as heck start. Spicy hops adorn the dry malts, but are faint in comparison. Flavor profile is wafers and crackers with mild nutty and bready malts adding a little further depth. Again, spicy hops add some zest on top. Mouth feel is creamy with a medium thickness. Overall, dry and crispy sipper that's a nice option out of a side pour tap.

The label says "Italian Pilsner". When I think of Italian beer, I think of sweeter versions of most styles. This beer has a light sweetness and a crispness that is satisfying. From a tall aluminum can, it is a straw color with more haze than I expected. Floral hop aroma. Light body and crisp finish. I enjoyed it.

poured from a 16oz can into a tall new glarus pilsner glass. pours a clearer straw gold with three fingers of soapy white foam and lots and lots of carbonation bubbles. soft, floral
hops with lightly bready malts on the nose. taste follows with a medium-full mouthfeel. subtle carbonation that almost seems a tad low for the style but overall this is quite good. refreshing and drinkable especially at 5.4%. it almost drinks like 4.5-4.8%. lava’nother!

On draft at Shakespeares. Poured a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of bread crust, caramel, toffee and floral notes. Sweet caramel taste with bready malt and a citrusy bite.
