This Black IPA was inspired by the upcoming total eclipse on April 8th. Shadow of the Moon gives off big malty American IPA vibes with just a whisp of roastiness. Dry hopped with Idaho 7 & Simcoe hops which gives a slight tropical sweetness to the beer mades this an absolute delight of a beer

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on glass. It smelled of pine, roasted malt, toffee and chocolate. Great roasted malt taste with coffee, chocolate and a piney bitterness.
