Had on tap. Opaque black body with a lighter brown collar. Big rye and oak barrel leading the nose with char, dark chocolate and a hint of earthy spice. Taste is very similar, getting a touch of anise, but the rye is so powerful it verges on smoky. Feel is barrel driven, body thinned slightly by the aggressive barrel treatment, but you can chew on this boozy and rye shaped stout, gets close to hot
