This is a saison and sour cherry stout. I just put it under saison as there is obviously no such category.

A: thin head, light lacing. Very dark brown, some light getting through. Reddish hues.

S: mix of belgian spicy yeast and light roasted malt. Of course dark fruit is big here as well.

T: lot going on with this one. The belgian yeast and spiciness of the saison comes through first and surprisingly strong in the opening. I thought it wouldn't even be noticeable but it was. Next came the roasted malt and coffee notes with a bittersweet sour cherry finish.

M: medium body and moderate carbonatio.

Overall: may be the most complex beer I have tried. The tastes are a little odd together but they actually transition well.
