A: thin head on a dark brown body with some light getting through. No lacing.
S: roasted malts with the malts almost out competing the peppery notes.
T: the peppers are barely noted unti late in the finish. The roasted malts, earthy notes and smokiness of the base beer are nicely done.
M: fairly watered down. Light to medium body and low to modwrate carbonation.
Overall: Where some peppered/chile beers are overstated this one is grossly understated. The aroma pepper is stronger than the flavor pepper almost. However, still a good beer and nicely drinkable.
