Poured from the tap into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a nice hops and wood aroma
Appearance- Pours a clear reddish color with medium sized whitehead.
Taste- Has a nice blend of malt and hop that mask the rather high ABV.
Palate- A medium bodied brew with mild carbonation. Has a dry finish and a slight aftertaste.
Overall- A real good beer. If you like American Amber/Red Ales. this is a must.

Poured a reddish body with decent head and lace on top of an aroma that has a good amount of piney, fresh hops (tried this the day they just tapped a brand new batch) along with some caramel malts. The balance is there in this beer b/c the hops really come out and have a nice citric and slightly dry flavor but are not bitter or too strong as the caramel malts are perfectly balanced for just enough sweetness to counteract the hops bitterness and add enough muscle to the body for a fuller bodied beer that is not light or watery. Also, a little surprised that brewery lists at 9% b/c ABV is not noticeable and if this is indeed correct then they did a great job masking the alcohol.
