Kolsch style summer beer. Golden color, but grainy notes in the aftertaste take away from the clean taste a Kolsch should have. Bit of a miss here, from an otherwise solid Virginia Beach craft brewer.

Look: Crystal clear gold with a thin white head.

Smell: Lemon peel, floral hops, a nice crackery malt, some herb notes like thyme.

Taste: Bitter lemon peel, bright floral hops, and a clean citrus. There is a light clove note with a French bread crust malt and a fruit yeast.

Feel: Crisp clean and refreshing. Mild bitterness. No alcohol.

Overall: One tasty Kolsch. A style I typically don’t like but this one is super clean with intresting flavors throughout. Brewed for summer.

Classic summer beer as it is just a very easy to drink and light beer. Starts off with a crystal clear golden body with two finger head that disappears rather quickly. Smooth, refreshing, minor hop bite and a more grainy, pils-like malt base. Easy to drink, not too flavorful, minor sweetness poking around. Decent beer.
