Poured a reddish copper body with good head and lace on top of an aroma that is mostly hoppy but there are hints of spice and possible sweet malts. Pretty simple ale but well-crafted that reminds me more of an amber than a saison but still enjoyable. Sharp citric hops seem to dominate with minimal funky crispness in the beer and a dry finish that is complemented with sweet malts. Worth trying even if not strong in certain farmhouse/saison flavors like funk, sour, (the "Brett"), booziness.
