From a growler.
Appearance: The beer has a very nice appearance comprised of brown, red, and orange all changing depending on how the light hits it. The Head is white and it has good retention and lacing.
Aroma: It has a very strong grain aroma which is married to a very pronounced hop aroma.
Taste: At first I notice the strong herbal hop flavor which seems to be very overpowering in the beer but still quite nice. There is a strong grain flavor to the beer and it tastes very fresh.
Mouthfeel: Bitterness is a bit high for the beer but it has a nice chewy medium sized body. The beer is not one that you would drink quickly either.
Overall: The hop presence takes a huge presence in the beer and leaves a lingering bitterness on the palate that creates a pretty large departure from the standard clean tasting easy-to-drink Oktoberfestbier. For those looking for a more traditional or malty beer it's not one that I would readily recommend. If you prefer a hoppier beer then you will undoubtedly enjoy this. It does have a lot of flavor and that is its greatest strength. I would drink it again when I want a more full-flavored bold version of Oktoberfestbier.

Light copper body with two finger head that leaves lace ring down the glass.
Non descript aroma that is slightly hoppy with hints of caramel and bread malt.
Medium bodied beer that packs a little sweetness that keeps in check a mostly hoppy and dry beer that finishes easy.
Not the most flavorful marzen/oktoberfest type beer but it's easy to drink and worth trying.
