Can shared by Dave. Thanks man.
Orange body, mild haze, thin off-white head. Ripe oranges, nectarines, grapefruit. Malt forward with tangy grapefruit zest. Mediocre.

Not sure if I got a bad can or what. There is barely any carbonation and the flavors quite muted. Only a month old.

My first brew from Reaver Beach and it is a winner!!!! Poured from a pint can into a pint glass. First pour was clear, dark gold with a small fizzy/foamy head hat fades fast. Average size rings of lacing on the glass. Subsequent pours were hazy, honey yellow colored with the head just about the same. Great hoppy aroma both floral and citrus. Taste is not quite as good as the aroma but still solid and very pleasant. Piney, floral and citrus hop flavors all present themselves with a good level of bitterness. Mouthfeel is crisp and rich, nicely carbonated with good bitterness. The last few hoppy beers I tried were out of their freshness recommendation. This beer was canned 10/25/17....just right!!!!

Poured from a 16 oz tall boy into a clear glass tulip. 10/25/17 on bottom of can.
A: Pleasing orange amber with decent head and sparse lacing
S: Very odd aroma with a lot of strawberry and blueberry with lime and heavy herbal character. Has a gas/diesel quality.
T: Flavor is lime blueberry hoppiness with a heavy honeysuckle herbal earthy character with some onion in the finish.
M: light and dry with even carbonation
O: 2 DIPAs from Reaver Beach and two misses, this one bigger than the last with Off-base aroma and flavor profiles.
Re_review:
Tried the second can (same canned on date) I had and it was significantly better with lots of peach, orange citrus, and lime flavors and aromas. I am a little leery due to can-to-can variation. I will bump this up but remain on alert.

From the bottom of the can: "10/25/2017 #FINDBARB"
Appearance: The body looks very carbonated but it doesn't have a head at all. If poured vigorously there is a small white cap that shortly fades. It almost has a carbonated cider look to it. The body is a medium shade of gold with a lot of haze. It isn't the best looking beer.
Aroma: It has a lovely peach, mango, and tangerine aroma. The can says it is "Exclusively and Intensely Hopped with Mosaic" and it really does showcase the Mosaic aroma. It is a soft aroma but it smells fantastic.
Taste: It has a nice bit of fresh grain flavor mixed in with fruity peach and mango. There is a bit of grassy hop flavor at the end but only a slight bit.
Mouthfeel: The beer is very low on bitterness and despite having the appearance of carbonation it doesn't feel very carbonated. It finishes wet and a tad sweet. Overall it has a pretty bland mouthfeel.
Overall: The beer just doesn't feel very cohesive. It smells nice, has no head, tastes pretty good, but has no bitterness. I am enjoying the Mosaic hop flavor and aroma but the malt of the beer has no character and it has no bite which gives it this bland mouthfeel. If you really like Mosaic hops, want to know what they smell like or taste like, this is the good showcase for the hop. If you are looking for something to sit back and enjoy while watching a movie or hanging out with friends, I would recommend picking up something else. It just has this nagging "I'm almost complete" character to the beer.

Virginia Beach is cranking out $16 4-packs of below-average beer. I'm a fan of this brewery, but not this double IPA. Very underwhelming.
